This is dated in the 1940s because the army Air Force was replaced by the standard Air Force in the late 1940s.

This is a heavy duty new-old-stock cap made by the Blue Anchor Overall Company. It is made of denim with a wool liner. The strap can be worn around the chin or around the back of the hat. This is NOS in excellent condition. The sweatband is made of leather. It has never been used.
